CPModel - Civil Protection Massive Open Developed E-Learning for strategies of Resilience

CPModel is a European project developed by partner organizations from Austria, Greece, Italy, Spain and UK. All consortium members are active players in the fields of civil protection, resilience and education.

The project is co-funded by the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection department (DG-ECHO).

It’s main goal ist to define and implement strategies and actions to increase the ability of municipalities to become “can-do communities”. Therefore, the main focus lies on diffusing knowledge and practices as well as the creation of the corresponding learning tools.

Partnering municipalities will be actively supported on their path towards resilience. With the aim of developing new approaches to transform a traditionally organized local communities into resilient organizations, CPModel intends to create an innovative learning platform. In addition, the project  provides  practical contributions in terms of guidelines, indications and learning resources on how to react in case of criticalities and disasters by building on the concept of resilience.
