Project Information

Exploring Risks

Especially in times of climate change dealing and living with risks in a sustainable manner is indispen-sable. Therefore, Exploring Risks pursues the goals of building risk awareness, a sense of stewardship and adequate decision-making capacities at an early stage. Furthermore, this project aims to increase the individual responsibility of our next generation with regards to risk and disaster management in one’s own social and personal environment. The natural interest of children and youngsters in research, innovation and development will be also fostered.
The objectives will be achieved by developing and implementing scientific and hands-on activities in collaboration with companies, academia and five partner schools.
The project is funded by the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) via the programme “Talente regional – Kinder, Unternehmen und die Welt der Forschung“.
