Process support: Exploring climate change and health

The health impacts of climate change are well documented at the global and national levels. At the local and regional level, there is still a great need for communication and potential for developing heat-relatet measures. Especially in companies, awareness of the issue is still insufficient, although people who work physically hard and outdoors are considered to be highly-vulnerable.

Against this background, alpS GmbH is conducting comprehensive research on the topic of "Climate Change and Health in Tyrol" and evaluating how selected Tyrolean companies are currently affected. Already existing and planned measures will be identified and subsequently deepened in workshops with relevant experts. In addition, the topic will be discussed in the pilot municipality of Zirl together with the Climate Alliance Tyrol.
