Creation of an integrated climate adaptation concept

The district of Munich has commissioned the development of an integrated climate adaptation concept in order to increase its resilience to the progressive and acute consequences of climate change.

As part of the preparation of the climate adaptation concept, the expected consequences of climate change are analysed, adaptation capacity and needs are determined and resulting measures are developed. Proactive collaboration with local stakeholders is a key element in anchoring climate adaptation as an interdisciplinary challenge in the district in the long term. 

The concept is being developed together with energielenker projects GmbH. Funding priority A.1: Creation of a sustainable adaptation concept (initial project) in accordance with the guidelines for funding "Measures to adapt to the consequences of climate change".
