Natural hazard and risk analysis for a real estate object in Braunschweig, Germany

As part of a building certification process for the real estate object in Braunschweig, Germany, alpS GmbH carried out a natural hazard and risk analysis in accordance with the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM). This is the world's leading sustainability assessment and certification system for the built environment. The quality of the building and the quality of building operation are assessed on the basis of nine environmental categories.

The focus of the analyses by alpS GmbH was on the two categories, i. e. ‘Rsl 01 Flood’ and ‘Rsl 03 Assessment of the risk of natural hazards’.
