Talk and discussion on challenges of engineering offices with regard to the climate crisis

As part of the event "Engineering offices facing new challenges: Strategies and solutions in the face of the climate crisis‘, organised by the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce on 2 October 2024, alpS GmbH contributed a presentation on the topic of ’Consulting, planning and calculating in times of (climate) change: opportunities and risks for engineering offices". DI Klaus Schneeberger, PhD discussed past and future climate developments and derived risks and opportunities for the activities of engineering offices. This perspective was supplemented by an impulse from a scientific point of view by Prof. Dr Manfred Kleidorfer on the importance of technical training and the role of engineering offices with regard to climate change. The subsequent discussion provided space for the exchange of experiences.
