Climate impact and risk analysis in context of the EU-Taxonomy
Conducting climate impact and risk analyses for various real asset projects in Germany in the context of the EU Taxonomy.

In cooperation with Delta Energie GmbH & Co KG, alps GmbH has conducted climate impact and risk assessments for building objects in Lower Saxony (e.g. in Hannover, Wolfsburg, Göttingen). These analyses of climate-induced natural hazards serve as foundation for the do no significant harm (DNSH) audit of the environmental object ‘climate change adaptation’ with regard to the EU-Taxonomy.
The applied method corresponds to the methodological requirements of a climate risk and vulnerability assessment as described in Appendix A of Annex I of the taxonomy. Current and future climate risks are assessed using scientific methods. Finally, the risk assessment is supplemented by adaptation measures aimed at increasing the resilience of these properties.
