Hans Stötter studied geography, cartography and landscape ecology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has been Professor of Geography at the University of Innsbruck since 1998. The focal points of his many years of scientific activity include questions and approaches to solutions in geomorphology, remote sensing, natural hazards and risk research, climate change and its consequences, sustainability and transformation.
